And the time has come, not really. With the fact that I am taking no math and science, this year is pretty nice. This year should be easy, I just can't wait for next year. I am pumped, even though I will be faraway from home, I will grow up slowing and soon find my very own common ground that I can grow up on, not the ones my parents have built for me. A week has passed since school started and my own brain has already rebooted to its "school" status. I wish for a good school year - I know that it won't be that stressful but I want to be successful as well. Homework load is not that much - quizzes kind of pile up since I am taking economics and government at the same time, which I am extremely liking which means that next year, I will not take math, science, or even social studies! YAY! For chinese, I am still deciding whether I should drop it or not. Should I just stay in the class and struggle? -if it weren't for the natives, I would be fine!- too bad the Katyisd program doesn't have cantonese huh? At least I know both mandirin and cantonese, I should be fine in my future in Hong Kong.
And I sit and stare at the sky whenever I need to, I think far into time and around the world as well. I will be getting a Nikon in Thanksgiving, I have already discovered a liking for photography - which will help me in my career. I am going to miss the quiet, blue skies of Katy, TX but I also love the thrill of walking in the streets of Hong Kong. It may be dirty in a while, but if I needed to get some clean air, I will just go to Victoria Peak and walk around Aberdeen. There is always fresh air there, rain rejuvinates the area and the beautiful scenery is something that can't be missed. The food there is good too, made by local ingredients that can be found less than 20 miles away. The street vendors are wonderful too for the cheap prices and wonderful clothes you can find. Underground fashion designers help you pick clothes are newly in fashion and can give you a cheaper price if you want. Stationary is also a wonderful item. There is just too many to choose from: but all of them have the same cuteness and are also a must have. My cousins here always bring me to such places since they know me and my stationary "awwness".
I already miss my almost-90 year old grandpa. He's a lively man that walks the mountains at 4 AM and goes to eat dimsum with his fellow friends at 6 AM. When he was young, he was a smoker who worked hard and came to Hong Kong with my grandma to start a new life. My grandpa is never scared to do anything, he always dares me and my little brother to do something that is truly dangerous and in the end, it is his grandchildren that stops him from doing something that daring. When my little brother was born, he get a cancer that affected his talking. My dad immediately brought my grandpa to the US to have surgery to get it out. Even though we are lucky that he survived, we are also glad that we discovered the cancer early enough to have it removed. I haven't seen him and my grandma for almost 2 years now - 2 short yet also very long years for them. Anything can happen in those 2 years, but the family is extremely happy for him to be still there. I will see him this winter when I go there to get interviewed at the colleges there. Going to Hong Kong this winter will let me experience how cold it will be there. Even though there will be no snow, there is no heat and the only thing they do have is an AC. I am hoping that it will not be that cold and that I will be ok in the nights when I do have to snuggle tightly in my blankets.
And the time clicks by, and the clouds rolls ahead of me, and the sun shines sweetly in my direction.

I woke up this morning with that "I'm ready for school!" feeling. I was ready to take that teen leadership exam and tackle it: I was ready to get it over with, I was ready to leave school with confidence saying that I did get an A on the exam and have no regrets. I again but on that invisible bandanna saying "You Can Do It Gloria!" and left the house with pride. That was me this morning, that was me with that confident feeling.
But behind that one mask, I felt depressed. It would be the last day I would see some or none of my seniors. Unfortunately, I haven't even said bye to them like everyday I would do when I leave from our little lunch table. To tell you the truth, I didn't even see them today and I regretted not saying good bye to them properly. My heart felt this little burden I couldn't let go of - and I knew it, I was going to regret not saying good bye to them. Really there was no way I could say good bye to them; only in my prayers - only in my dreams.
Seniors, you may feel that it was so selfish for me not to say good bye to you guys, but in my heart, I did say good bye, whether I'm really close to you or not so close to you, or not even know you, you all are still the seniors in my heart. As we part, I hope you can reach for the stars and have a successful life. I hope your dreams come true and I hope that there are no misfortunes in your life. I hope your life will become complete: make enough money, make your wife/husband happy, have a wonderful family, and be happy - that's the most important thing. I will miss you and I hope you will miss me too.
good bye, seniors.

John Ruskin: Quotes: Life
Life is a magic vase filled to the brim; so made that you cannot dip into it nor draw from it; but it overflows into the hand that drops treasures into it-drop in malice and it overflows hate; drop in charity and it overflows love.
Life is a maze of paths. By getting lost, I discover myself, and recognize my own passage.
“life is a test. it is only a test. had this been a real life you would have been instructed where to and what to do."
Life is a journey, not a destination
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get
Life is like a roller coaster; it has its ups, downs, twists and turns.
Life’s short, make it sweet.
Life is full of choices
Life is full of surprises
Life is a battlefield
Nobody can escape the maze of life, even though there are twists and turns, you are still going to end up in the same place.
Life is like a maze
In life you can make the wrong turnAnd you can make a right turn
But the great thing about life is
That in any maze you can go back
You can fix your mistakes
Dont ever think you cant fix anything

Life is the space between your ears,
Life is the song that no one hears,
Life is the place that only you know,
Life is the grass growing through snow,
Life is the touch of a lover’s hand,
Life is a castle melting in sand,
Life is the laugh that’s stuck in your throat
Life is a poem that god wrote
Life is the shiver on a warm night,
Life is like death, only not quite.

Life is a gift one should cherish forever.
My mind is still a bookcase of dreams. I have chapters of dreams and fantasies. All have been cherished and have deeply influenced my thinking and my own nature. These dreams are not ones that pry for a better relationship with some friend or seeing yourself with some popular boyband; they all have some kind of climax that has no ending. The climax always ends when I open my eyes, and slowly I begin to recuperate the dream. The dream would be like some rememberable movie that I will never forget, and the events are climbing into my mind's walls and are seeping inside. Whether it is tragic or it is inspirational, all of them seem to open up a new door in my mind. Like as if my mind is a castle full of new discoveries, door after door I would see more and more. Sometimes I can even see the paths of my castle-like mind. There are paths that have forks and then other paths that are unlite just beckoning me to come and open a new door; never was there a dead end. Discoveries are endless to me. It's just my soul and my mind traveling through the cold path. My legs running in all directions and when I see a new opening I almost jump to the door and the rest relies in my heart whether I should open the door or not. And if I don't open the door, then I walk the other way and look for another door. Fantasies don't come from the generation we live in that is full of worries of our social life and status but my fantasies are truly fantasies. I see another world; not just one but plenty of them; many, some good and some bad; and all with different stories. I see some worlds where all is well and everybody is happy, and uncorrupted; where the trees grow fruitfully and the Yet I also see another world where there is an neverending war, lifes taken one after another, warriors dying a painful death trying to protect the one they love; villagers hiding from fear yet still taken into eternal sleep. The world soon becomes barren and rough; and the population declines. When will there be an end? I never saw that end yet. When will I dream that? Only do I have wonders?
I wonder, when will I meet my dead end?

to be continued.
Story is that school had been busy for me. I had lovely final exams, with the SATs and stuff it with expected homework. And that top that off with an actual life. HA yup that's my excuse
This week is fortunately spring break. sleeping is great with chores and then my dad's office work. It can't be that bad. It has gotten unusally warm here, but now everytime when i wake up, it feels like summer.
too lazy to write much, but don't worry, i'll write in probably a week.
:]
This is not December, well it doesn't feel like December. I'm at my backyard, fanning myself as I watch sun and rain pass by. Sitting on my patio chair, I sigh as I think about the weather we are in right now. It feels like summer but with a cold front. Not good, I was supposed to be in the mood of putting Christmas stuff up...unfortunately I wasn't in the mood.
These days, I have been downloading much music. And again do i worship Korean/Japanese boy bands.
Bands:
Big Bang: WOW, I never thought that I would like their music so much. I was ecstatic when I heard their new album and watched their new Music Videos. I first had information from them from a friend in college which I would also thank for introducing me to Epik High :D awesome band and Clazziquai XD again another awesome korean band!
DBSK/TVXQ: the korean pretty boys in my world @_@ i'm completely obsessed with them...well actually its a competition between them and Big Bang since they are both equally hot yet DBSK is more "pretty" :P
and others that I am not interested in typing at the moment.
wow what a pointless post
sorry guys x_x
